Profile

We are a wind orchestra for working individuals, established in December 2018 and commenced our activities in January 2019. Our members, who are passionate about music and wind instrument music, are based in Toyama Prefecture.

Our members are primarily working adults, but we also have a diverse group of individuals including elementary, junior high, high school, and university students.

With a professional teacher serving as an advisor, our band participates in competitions, holds regular concerts, performs at various events, and organizes local events. Our aim is to spread the joy of brass band music, enjoy music, and improve performance techniques through the joy of music.

In the fall of 2023, we formed a Junior Band (junior brass band) for elementary school students, and we are also focusing on community activities.

2022 First regular concert held (High Frequency Cultural Hall)
2022 Gold Prize in the Toyama Prefecture Band competition (first representative from Toyama Prefecture)
2022 First appearance in the Hokuriku Area Band Competition (Bronze Prize)
2023 Participated in the All Japan Ensemble Contest (Silver Prize)

Toyama Presidential Wind Orchestra is always looking for new members.
Currently, we have members from Imizu City, Takaoka City, Tonami City, Nanto City, Toyama City, Namerikawa City, and outside of Toyama Prefecture.
Practice schedule is every Saturday night and Wednesday night in the cities of Imizu and Toyama.
We also have private practice days. You are welcome to bring your instrument and observe! Please feel free to contact us.
